Chris was born on September 5th, 1966 at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, NL. His parents were Baxter (Sr) and Juanita Gillingham (Ellsworth). Chris grew up in Noggin Cove, Notre Dame Bay and attended school in Carmanville from where he graduated in 1984. He later attended Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John's, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) degree in 1989. He is currently working as a Senior Systems Analyst with the Provincial Government of Newfoundland.

Angela was born on October 23rd, 1967 at home, in Campbellton, Notre Dame Bay, NL. Her parents are Harvey and Lorna Boone (Sheppard). Angela grew up in Campbellton and graduated from Greenwood Central High in Campbellton in 1985. She completed a Clerk Accounting course at the Lewisporte District Vocational School in 1986.

Chris and Angela married on August 25th, 1989 at Campbellton and on February 20th, 1992, Tyler Christopher arrived. Tyler successfully completed the Aircraft Maintenence Engineer (AME) course at CONA and is currently working with PAL Airlines in St. John's, NL.

Tyler married Annie Brown on August 12th, 2023.
